The Group

Cambridge Media has expanded its activities using the latest digital printing technologies, and now publishes a wide range of titles in a number of different sectors.

Our roots in performing arts have allowed us to build an extensive list of titles under the Entertainment Technology Press banner, covering the technical side of performing arts, including books on theatre and performance history, construction, project management, sound, lighting and other technical subjects.

In 2005 CMG acquired Liverpool Academic Press (now Cambridge Academic) with imprints covering academic subjects including economics, sociology, politics, law, English, business, and purchasing and supply chain management. Cambridge Academic seeks to provide a comprehensive outlet for educational books in the humanities, both for schools and universities.

With the acquisition of Independence Educational Publishers in 2006, CMG now has a range of more than sixty books on contemporary social issues designed as aids for secondary school teachers and pupils.

Added to the print publishing businesses, CMG's digital business Realnet Ltd is a market-leading website design and digital marketing agency with a growing portfolio of clients. Realnet develops bespoke website solutions including e-commerce solutions that are goal-orientated and business focussed, and offers a wide range of ongoing support packages to ensure continous success.
